Details Itinerary

 

Day 1: Yangon – Amarapura - Mandalay
Departure from Yangon Domestic Airport by morning flight to Mandalay (1 hr 30 min flying from Yangon ) . The City of Mandalay took its name from the Mandalay Hill, which is situated at the north east corner of the town. Founded and built by King Mindon in (AD 1856- 57). Arrive Tada U Airport and direct excursion to Amarapura – the ancient capital of Myanmar Kingdom. Visit MahaGandhaYone, where are (700 to 800) monks residing permanently. They're taught Dama, Buddhist Philosophy and U Bein Teak Bridge – 1.2 km long. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day – 2: Mandalay – Mingun – Mandalay
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the jetty to take a boat trip about 45minute up from Mandalay to Mingun. Visit Mingun unfinished pagoda, Mingun Bell weighing ( 90.52 ) tons, Mya Thein Dan Pagoda and the home for the aged. Return back to Mandalay. Afternoon visit stone carving and wood carving, Kuthoday Pagoda and Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden palace). Then watch lovely sunset from Mandalay Hill with Ayeyarwaddy background view. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 3: Mandalay - Sagaing – Inwa – Mandalay
Breakfast at hotel. And visit to Sagaing Hill, Soon Oo Ponya Shin Pagoda. There are plenty of stupas scattered around Sagaing Hill, which rise on the western bank of the Ayeyarwady River. Sagaing became capital of the independent Shan kingdom around 1,315, after the fall of Bagan had thrown central Myanmar into chaos. Its period of importance was short, for in 1364 the founder's grandson, Thadomyinphya, moved his capital across the river to Innwa. After that visit to Kaung Hmu Daw Pagoda, U Min Thonze Pagoda. After that visit to Inwa, Nan Myint Watch Tower. There is the Nan-myint or look out tower (Watch Tower), a square campanile of fine masonary. This is the only monument of palace buildings at ancient Inn-wa. The top most of that tower could be accessed through the three steps of stair. It is, still, the major visiting site. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 4: Departure to Yangon
After breakfast at hotel,transfer to the Airport for the flight back to Yangon.
