Day – 1: Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo
Departure from Yangon to Kyaikhtiyo early morning. It is known as Golden Rock. It is 200 km north east of Yangon, 5 hour drive. Lunch at Bago. Arrive Kimpun based camp and from there take open truck to drive up to Yahte’ camp. And then take trekking about 45 minutes to the summit. (Sedan Chair Service is available at US $ 20 per pax per way). The Panoramic view from the pagoda platform is magnificent over Sittaung Valley. The climb offers magnificent views over the surrounding countryside and the opportunity to make friends with the many local people who make the pilgrimage to Kyaiktiyo. The incredible 'Golden Rock' sits precariously on top of the mountain, and is said to balance thanks to a precisely placed hair of Buddha. Weather permitting, sunset views from Mount Kyaiktiyo are amazing. Dinner at Hotel. Overnight at Kyaikhtiyo hotel.

Day – 2: Kyaikhtiyo – Bago - Yangon
After breakfast at hotel, drive down to the based camp and drive back to Yangon. Sightseeing in Bago with the highlights of Kyaik Pun Pagoda, (with four Buddha images), Bago Market. Lunch at Bago. Continue to Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Kanbawzathadi Palace, Shwethalyaung recling Buddha Image, Mahazedi Pagoda, in which the tooth relics of Buddha from Sri Lanka was enshrined before the earthquake. Arrive in Yangon at late evening. Dinner at Yangon in Local Restaurant. Overnight at Yangon.
